This weekend I watched Heima by Sugur Ros — a documentary on the band’s Iceland tour. Actually it’s more than just a documentary, it’s a piece of art. Wonderful camera work, mesmerizing music and breathtaking views together create a unique experience. Go to the website and watch the trailer!
The two DVDs are accompanied by a photo album. It’s printed on a high quality, thick, uncoated paper, wrapped in a hardcover with carefully chosen and composed photos. A beautiful thing to have.
I’m so in love with the Garance Dore’s for Kate Spade fabric pattern. Also the skirt’s cut is just perfect. I have a similiar one, black peachskin viscose (it’s matt and silklike but much thicker). My mother had it tailored when she was around my age.
Not only internet is crazy about cats but also fasnionistas. A few seasons ago everyone was crazy about Charlotte Olympia’s Kitty Flats and Tessas as well as Miu Miu cat prints. So was I. (I’m definitely a cat person.) However (un)fortunatelly every high fashion idea is immediately copied by a low-price boutiques. Imagine how happy I was when I found cat flats (in the last picture) in my local Shoes in the City store!
Some time ago I spilt ice tea over my beloved camera. It’s because I have never used a proper camera bag. They’re so ugly! The worst one I’ve ever seen was bright orange with black stripes. And totally shapeless. Now my camera is being repaired and I’m looking for a proper camera bag. Here are my favourites.
It seems like the internet loves chicken (next to cats, hedgehogs, lamas, and many more). My friend has got this super awesome t-shirt by Pan tu nie stal and it looks brilliant on her. I’m definitely planning on buying some of their products soon.
The real hens are form a great culinary blog Canelle et Vanille. There is a growing trend towards organic eggs. From Jamie Olivier to food related blogs everyone is writing about them, which I really appreciate.
